These judges bring decades of experience, sharp eyes, and a serious love for dance. They’ve taught it, lived it, judged it- and now they’re ready to crown the BEST of the best.

Deanna Interlicchia
With over 30 years of line dancing teaching experience, a studio owner, and a seasoned competition judge, David knows exactly what it takes to stand out. Precision, confidence, and performance- he’s looking for it ALL.
David has been a line dance instructor for 37 years. He is a fulltime certified dance instructor and is the director of Dance Biz in Rochester, NY. He continues to choreograph many new line dances for his students to enjoy. David has become a dance instructor because of his natural love for dance and teaching.

Deanna Interlicchia
Deanna brings a powerful mix of technical skill, creativity, and
performance expertise to the panel.
Deanna has been dancing for over 35 years, including her years as a competitive dancer from ages 7–18. She went on to teach at Dance Biz for 15 years and choreographed three high school musicals.
In addition to her background in performance and instruction, she has been an avid line dancer for two decades.

Melissa Urban
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Melissa’s passion for performance is deeply rooted in family and community. She follows in the footsteps of her mother, a locally well-known coach, and carries forward that legacy through strong family values, dedication to mentorship, and a genuine joy that makes her a positive and uplifting presence wherever she goes. Backed by 20 years as a cheerleading coach, dance instructor, and competition judge, Melissa brings powerhouse energy and a trained eye for performance. Coming from a family rooted in dance, excellence is her standard.
Melissa is a highly respected coach with a strong foundation in both dance and cheerleading choreography. She is known for her fairness, attention to detail, and deep understanding of performance technique and artistry. Her experience allows her to evaluate routines with a balanced perspective- considering not only technical execution, but also creativity, musicality, and overall presentation.
With years spent as a coach from 1996 to 2009 and again from 2021 to 2025, along with time as an announcer and judge, she brings a well-rounded and insightful voice to every competition.
